OVERVIEW OF THE CHURCH

Christ Apostolic Church is an International, non-profit-making Pentecostal Evangelical church with its headquarters in Osu – Accra, Ghana. The church started as a prayer group in 1917 led by the late Apostle Peter Anim. It is the first Pentecostal Church to surface in Ghana, out of which emerged the Church of Pentecost, The Apostolic Church and other Pentecostal Charismatic Churches in Ghana.

The church exists to bring salvation to all men by preaching the word of God and His saving power to mankind, planting of churches and equipping believers, raising transformational leaders to impact the world by demonstrating the love of God through the provision of socio-economic services in partnership with governments, communities and other organizations that share in the vision of the Christ Apostolic Church International.

MISSION STATEMENT
Christ Apostolic Church (Int.) seeks to bring salvation in Christ to all persons in the world who are perishing by preaching and teaching the gospel of Christ as in the Holy Scriptures and promoting socioeconomic development.

VISION STATEMENT
Making Christ-like disciples of all nations, tribes and peoples

The values of C.A.C. (Int.) are enshrined in the tenets of Church.  These are:

  1. The Unity of the Godhead and the Trinity of the persons therein.
  2. The utter depravity of human nature, the necessity for repentance and Regeneration, and the Eternal Doom of the final impenitent.
  3. The Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Atoning Death, Triumphant Resurrection, Ascension and abiding Intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ.  His Second Coming and Millennial Reign on earth.
  4. Justification and Sanctification of the believer through the finished work of Christ.
  5. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost of the believers with Signs following
  6. The Nine Gifts of the Holy Ghost for edification, exhortation, and comfort of the Church, which is the body of Christ.
  7. The Sacraments of Baptism by immersion, and of the Lord’s Supper
  8. Divine Inspiration and Authority of the Holy Scriptures
  9. Church Government by Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Elders, and Deacons.
  10. The possibility of falling from Grace
  11. The obligatory nature of Tithes an offering
  12. Divine Healing through Obedience to the Command of our Lord Christ and Faith in His Name and Merit of His Blood for all sicknesses, diseases, and infirmities.
  13. Faith in God the Jehovah “Jireh” to supply all your needs.
